PetSketches.com was founded in 2002 by artist Deb Gardner who wanted to find a way to combine her love of animals and art.  Deb has studied art from elementary school through high school and college and continues to take workshops to further her skills.  She lives with her husband and two cats in Carmel, Indiana.

In memory of our beloved girls. Cleo and Winnie.  We lost our girls 12 months apart in January 06 and December 06.  They lived long lives (19 and 17 years) and we were lucky to have shared it with them. Losing my babies was extremely hard and I lost my desire to work on portraits for period of time but I am back to work and ready to help you with a portrait of your best friend and also to help with donations to rescue groups. 

My husband and I are happy to report the additions of Olive and Simon to our family.  Both of them are rescues from From the Heart Rescue. (Thank you, Peggy!) They have helped make our home happy again.
